Nation of Islam to Release New Information
Regarding Assassination of Malcolm X

New York-On Monday, March 30, 1998, at 2:00 p.m., at Muhammad Mosque No. 7, Minister Benjamin F. Muhammad, Minister of Muhammad Mosque No. 7 and East Coast Regional Representative of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, and Captain Muhammad Aziz, Captain of the Fruit of Islam of Muhammad Mosque No. 7 and the East Coast Region of the Nation of Islam, will hold a press conference to present new information regarding the assassination of Malcolm X.

Minister Muhammad and Captain Aziz will also respond to the recent front-page article, entitled "Malcolm X's Killer Appointed to Run Malcolm's Mosque," by Peter Noel, which appeared in the March 31, 1998 issue of The Village Voice published on Tuesday, March 24, 1998.

Minister Muhammad has stated, "At the press conference, we will establish once and for all, through an independently verifiable source, that Captain Aziz is innocent."
