The Education Challenge: 2010 Education Conference

Dear Educators and Supporters;

I hope this letter finds you in the best of health and spirit.

On behalf of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Executive Council, it is with much excitement and anticipation that I invite you to join us for the Nation of Islam Ministry of Education and Muhammad University of Islam's third annual "Education Challenge" Conference. This year's conference will be held August 5th-7th, 2010 in the beautiful city of Houston, Texas.

Education is the key to the success of our future. Many of our children are suffering from inadequate education. This conference promises to gather together some of the most brilliant minds in instruction, childhood development and education administration that will offer guidance, innovation and instructions that will not only inspire us, but realign us with our purpose for endeavoring in the field of education. The primary focus of this conference is to facilitate the development of the course of action that we need to take to strategically address the problems that we face in education and youth development today. We will also introduce new strategic partners that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has introduced us to and how these partnerships will aide us in ushering in the new educational paradigm. From home schools to brick-n-mortar schools to after-school programs and adult literacy, this conference will prove to be another tool in each educator’s tool box for fixing America’s problems of illiteracy and social decay.
