The intention of the Entrepreneur Workshop/Competition is for you to gain vital information to advance your idea or improve your business model. The Workshop/Celebration will grant you access to industry leaders and experts with invaluable insight on building and succeeding in business. The information and tools will be waiting for you.  All you have to do is be prepared to make your pitch and be there.

The Reward

The winner of the Entrepreneur Competition will receive a round-trip ticket to Atlanta, Georgia where they will spend a day with Steve Ewing, President/CEO of Wade Ford and John F. Carter, President/CEO of Carter Brothers and author of Cash Flow, Look What You’ve Done For Me. In addition, the winner will receive a laptop, a computer and an autographed copy of the book.

A video submission (no more than two minutes in length) must be submitted via YouTube with the title 2016 Entrepreneur Workshop/Competition (your business name) by 11:00 p.m. EST on Friday, February 12th, 2016.

  • 15 Business Plans will be selected for final review and competition.
  • The Think Tank will provide seating for those who wish to view and listen to the competition as well as the expect advice/consultation.
  • Each presenter will have 3 minutes to pitch your idea/plan.
  • A question and answer session from the expert panelists will follow each presentation.
  • Your business idea should be tailored to address a solution to a problem or need.
  • Your business model must be original and designed to generate sales/revenues and profits.
  • All presentation equipment and materials must be supplied by the participants.
  • Entrants can be one person or a team. (There is no limit to the number of team members. However, those who pitch must have an equity stake in the business.)
  • Mock-ups are permitted.
  • Your pitch must focus on what products or services you can offer.
